Can I install the app?

No app store required — install directly from your browser.

Which regions are supported?

All regions covered by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) — down to the si/gun/gu level nationwide.

Does it work offline?

As a PWA (Progressive Web App), the last loaded weather data remains viewable offline. An internet connection is required to fetch the latest data.

Where does the weather data come from?

Official meteorological data from the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) short-term forecast API.

How often is the weather updated?

Every hour. KMA publishes forecasts at 40 minutes past the hour; sanCheck updates accordingly.

How do I set up push notifications?

Open Settings, enable notifications, and register your area. You will then receive push alerts for that area's weather forecast.

How do I change the dust standard?

In Settings you can choose between WHO Extended (default), WHO 2021, and Korea MOE standards.

What is a Weather Indicator code?

A shareable code for a custom Weather Indicator you created. In Settings → Weather Indicators, tap the share button (⤴) next to an indicator to copy the code. Paste it anywhere to share. Others can paste it under 'Add by code' to import the indicator.
